The hide leather has been selected for its gripping and comfort qualities. This headguard has laminated padding with varying arying densities to absorb shock. It is shaped to give maximum vision and the cheek piece is shaped, so it cannot move up towards the eyes. It closes close to the nose so as to avoid facial injury.

This headguard is also fitted with a hook and loop chin strap, and has ear pieces fitted across the aperture to prevent suction on the ear drum.
